Big Daddy Weave is a contemporary Christian band composed of Mike Weaver (lead singer), Jay Weaver, Jeremy Redmon, Jeff Jones and Joe Shirk. Their popular songs include: "Every Time I Breathe", "Audience of One", "In Christ", "Fields of Grace", "Without You", and "What Life Would Be Like". They are signed to Fervent Records.
The band met while in college at the University of Mobile. Mike Weaver had been serving as worship leader of a Pensacola, Florida church and attending community college in the area.[1] He came to the university at the urging of his pastor, and studied voice.[1]
In both 2006 and 2007, Big Daddy Weave toured with Mark Schultz on his Broken and Beautiful Tour. In 2009, they headlined the What Life Would Be Like Tour with guest musician Josh Wilson.

Several of the members of Big Daddy Weave homes were heavily damaged in 2004's Hurricane Ivan. The parents of Mike and Jay Weaver lost their home in Gulf Breeze, Florida that also included the offices for the band.
